Rooted in Gandhiji's vision of harmony, Sarva Dharma Samabhava means "equal respect for all religions." This belief is at the heart of Mahatma Gandhi School's culture and community.

Our founder, Shri Vinayak Ganpat Deokar, has always believed that values of unity and respect must be nurtured from a young age — when minds and hearts are most open. At our school, this philosophy is not just spoken about. It is lived.

We celebrate every major festival — Diwali, Eid, Christmas, and more — with the same joy and inclusivity.

How We Celebrate

  • For Eid, we provide ration kits with everything needed to prepare traditional delicacies, so no family is left out of the festivities.
  • For Diwali, children not only receive sweet-making kits but also get to shop for clothes of their own choice, adding joy and pride to their celebrations.
  • For Christmas, children's wishes are fulfilled — a moment that reminds them they are seen, valued and loved.
Eid celebration

When the moon is sighted, our children return home with ration kits that let their families cook Eid delicacies with love and abundance.

Diwali celebration

We light lives, not just lamps. With ration kits and new clothes for every child, Diwali here is a celebration of shared joy.
